Through the lens, you will get to know one of the wildest areas of the Pre-Pyrenees: the Boumort Reserve. You can make the most of photography sessions in various hides, on walks, in untameable landscapes and in picturesque deserted villages like Espluga de Cuberes.

You will capture the wild gaze of birds of prey, the majestic bearded vulture, the black vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the griffon vulture and the golden eagle, as well as our elegant deer and discreet forest birds.

Presentation

Through the lens, you will get to know one of the wildest areas of the Pre-Pyrenees: the Boumort Reserve. You can make the most of photography sessions in various hides, on walks, in untameable landscapes and in picturesque deserted villages like Espluga de Cuberes.

You will capture the wild gaze of birds of prey, the majestic bearded vulture, the black vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the griffon vulture and the golden eagle, as well as our elegant deer and discreet forest birds.

1st day

  • 7:15 p.m. The group will be picked up in a 4x4 at Pobla de Segur / La Seu d’Urgell station.

  • 8:30 p.m. Arrival at Cal Rossa. Briefing

  • 9 p.m. Dinner

Sunday

2nd day

  • 6:30 a.m. Deer photography safari by 4x4.

  • 9:30 a.m. Breakfast with local products.

  • 12:30 p.m. Arrival in Taús.

  • 1:30 p.m. Lunch at Cal Rossa de Taús.

  • 6:30 p.m. Climb up to El Bosc Mountains. Sunset photography session

  • 8 p.m. Catered dinner in El Bosc Mountains.

Monday

3rd day

  • 8 a.m. Breakfast

  • 9 a.m. Journey to Buseu by 4x4.

  • 9:30 a.m. Bearded vulture hide in Buseu.

  • 1 p.m. Lunch in the hide.

  • 4 p.m. Leave the hide, afternoon snack and chat about the experience.

  • 4:30 p.m. Back to the village of Taús.

  • 5:30 p.m. Arrival at Cal Rossa de Taús. Rest afternoon.

  • 8:30 p.m. Dinner

  • 9:45 p.m. Photography session: the night sky

Tuesday

4th day

  • 8 a.m. Breakfast

  • 8:30 a.m. Journey to Buseu by 4x4.

  • 9:30 a.m. Golden eagle hide in Buseu.

  • 2 p.m. Lunch in Buseu, and rest time.

  • 4 p.m. Afternoon in forest bird hide.

  • 8 p.m. Arrival at Cal Rossa de Taús.

  • 8:30 p.m. Dinner in Taús.

Wednesday

5th day

  • 8 a.m. Breakfast

  • 8:30 a.m. 4x4 ride up to Coll de Flacó.

  • 9:30 a.m. Photography session in a tent hide: birds of prey in flight.

  • 12:30 p.m. Rest and free time while we chat about the experience.

  • 1:30 p.m. Lunch outdoors at the start of the livestock path.

  • 3 p.m. Walking route through the Cuberes Forest to the Cuberes Refuge.

  • 6 p.m. Arrival at Cuberes Refuge and settling in to accommodation.

  • 8:30 p.m. Dinner

Thursday

6th day

  • 6:30 a.m. Group pick-up at the Refuge. 4x4 deer photography safari.

  • 8:30 a.m. Breakfast at the Esplà Refuge.

  • 11:30 a.m. Trip to the village of Espluga de Cuberes.

  • 1 p.m. Lunch at Espluga de Cuberes.

  • 5 p.m. Arrival at Cuberes Refuge. Free afternoon.

  • 8:30 p.m. Dinner

Thursday

7th day

  • 8:30 a.m. Breakfast

  • 9:30 a.m. End of activities.

  • 10 a.m. Journey back to Pobla de Segur / La Seu d’Urgell train station.

  • 1 p.m. Arrival at train station.
